Hoover Feed Service was founded in 1974, by David Hoover.  Originally starting on the farm, it was soon moved to Wakarusa.  After a few years there, it was moved to Goshen, using an old Pine Manor facility for manufacturing.  After relocating to Goshen, Hoover Feed Service started to grow more rapidly, and was soon outgrowing its facility.     After operating there for most of its business years, it eventually had to move out, do to the rerouting of U.S. 33.

This turned out to be a good opportunity to expand their capacity so they moved out of town to SR 119 building a brand new setup, including a grain elevator and corn dryer.  The new setup has a grain capacity of approximately 875,000 bushels and has the capability of Pelleting and Flaking providing custom blends as well.  Hoover's business was built on custom feed manufacturing.  Being able to adjust to an individual's needs is one of the benefits of custom blends, giving us the opportunity to reach a wide variety of customers.

Hoover Feed mainly specializes in Dairy and Calf Feed, but has grown its Horse Feed manufacturing pretty quickly in the last few years.  Hoover's also has a large variety of other feed as well, including Poultry, Hog, Deer and Rabbit Feed.
